OVERVIEW :
  • Paediatrics is a fundamental clinical course dedicated to the care and well-being of children, from the womb through to 18 years of age.
  • Our primary mission is to ensure the health and safety of children through the integrated management of neonatal and childhood illnesses.
  • We focus not only on treating diseases but also on preventing them, especially through vital family, mother and child-centric programs.
  • As a baby-friendly and child-centric department, we strive to inspire hope in every child, aiming to contribute to achieving the national child health goals by 2030.
VISION:
  • To Protect& Promote the health of all children through child centered, family focused care, achieving the National Health Goals by 2030 and to standup as one of the Best Medical Institutions in UG& PG training.
MISSION:
  • To Become Baby friendly Hospital (BFHI)
  • Free Immunization for all children
  • Integrated management of all children by adopting IMNCI
  • Adopting the latest technology learning methods to students as directed by the NMC.
  • Conducting regular CME (CPP) programmes with ‘Hands on’ Experience by faculty & students in the department
  • Encouraging & conducting clinical research for better care of children by the student& faculty.
  • Conducting speciality clinics in the pediatric OPD for comprehensive care given of the pediatric population.
  • Holding regular Assessment test & Counseling for the students for their uplifiment
  • Conducting Health camps in the surroundings villages by the students & staff of pediatrics for Early pick-up as social Responsibility.
