OVERVIEW :

• The Department of Anaesthesia at Mallareddy Medical college for women is equipped with all the modern facilities and techniques.
• We have 11 modular operation theaters with Advanced Anaesthesia work stations.
• We are equipped with difficult airway cart with high end equipments like VIDEO LARYNGOSCOPES , FLEXIBLE FIBREOPTIC BRONCHOSCOPE , ADVANCED SUPRAGLOTTIC AIRWAY DEVICES, BRONCHIAL BLOCKERS etc., available in operation theaters.
• High end equipment like Laparoscopic monitors , Robot with CT navigation arthroscopes, advanced microscopes that aid in neurosurgery procedures are available.
• We have an operation theater dedicated to TEE and ultrasound machine that makes USG guided nerve blocks and intra operative monitoring possible.
• A peripheral nerve stimulator is also available for use in nerve blocks.
• All advanced laparoscopic and endoscopic surgeries taken up by general surgery, obstetric and gynecology, ENT, Ophthalmology and neurosurgery departments are well managed in our modular operation theaters..
• Endoscopic vein harvesting and minimal invasive cardiac surgeries are conducted on a daily basis are managed using the advanced equipment available here.
• EVLT ( endo-venous laser ablation therapy ) procedures are done for varicose veins.
• Palliative and therapeutic Onco surgeries are also taken up.
• The plastic surgery department is well versed in surgeries like micro-vascular free flaps and grafting.
• We also provide Anaesthesia for outside the operating room procedures done in CT , MRI , Endoscopy and Colonoscopy , Interventional radiology and Cath-lab procedures.

We foster cv culture of continuous learning by conducting CME and workshops in our department and encouraging faculty and post graduates to attend conferences to update their knowledge.
