Malla Reddy Medical College for Women (MRMCW), founded by Chandramma Educational Society, stands as a beacon of empowerment and excellence in medical education exclusively for women. Nestled in the vibrant city of Hyderabad, also known as the “City of Pearls”, MRMCW embarked on its journey in 2013 with a steadfast commitment to providing unparalleled medical education to aspiring young women.Our mission is clear: To impart knowledge in medicine through the highest standards of teaching and cutting-edge technology.
Endorsed by the National Medical Commission (NMC) and the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India, Malla Reddy Medical College for Women (MRMCW) received approval in 2013 to commence undergraduate medical education with an intake of 150 MBBS seats exclusively for women. The institution was affiliated with Kaloji Narayana Rao University of Health Sciences (KNRUHS), Warangal, Telangana, and has been granted the requisite permissions for admissions.
In 2020, MRMCW received recognition to offer postgraduate medical education, with permissions granted for admissions to MD/MS courses. At present, the institution offers a total of 126 MD/MS seats across 17 specialties, along with 3 seats in the DM Cardiology Super Specialty course.
In 2024, Malla Reddy Medical College for Women became a constituent institution of Malla Reddy Vishwavidyapeeth (Deemed to be University). Subsequently, in 2025, the National Medical Commission increased the undergraduate intake from 200 to 250 MBBS seats, further strengthening the institution’s contribution to medical education and healthcare.
Located in Northern Hyderabad, Malla Reddy Medical College for Women (MRMCW) is spread across 10.11 acres and is supported by a 1,160-bedded teaching hospital equipped with state-of-the-art facilities for comprehensive diagnosis and treatment. The hospital is NABL-accredited, reflecting its commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and excellence in healthcare delivery. Alongside clinical services, MRMCW places strong emphasis on academic excellence, research, and innovation.
