VISION:
  • To be recognised as centre of excellence in surgical training with impactful contributions to improve the quality of life for individuals worldwide at affordable cost through expertise and research.
MISSION:
  • Providing high quality patient care by delivering safe and effective surgical treatment through compassion and empathy.
  • Aiming at bringing out the talent from UG and PG students by encouraging them to present papers and posters at state and national meets.
  • Foster multidisciplinary collaboration by working with departments such as pathology, Radiology, Medicine & Anaesthesia to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • To stay updated with latest techniques by adopting evidence based practices, minimally invasive procedures and cutting edge surgical technology.
  • To cultivate Ethics, strong moral values and communication skills among budding surgeons.
  • We aspire to set new standards by pioneering Research and transformative patient care.
DEPARTMENTAL MILESTONES:
  • Started in 2013 with 150 UG seats
  • UG recognition in 2019
  • Allotment of 06 MS seats in the year 2020
  • PG Recognition in 2023
  • Upgradation of 06 MS seats to 15 MS seats in the year 2024
  • 84% results in MS examinations in 2023
  • 90-95% results in UG examinations in 2023
