The Department of Community Medicine at “Malla Reddy Medical College for Women” is committed to improving the health of communities through Education, Research, and Service.

The department plays a pivotal role in training future medical professionals in public health, epidemiology, and preventive medicine.

Our highly qualified faculties are dedicated to nurture medical students into skilled healthcare professionals who are passionate about serving society.

We recently adopted Family adoption program in the community.

  • Research & Innovation: To conduct and promote high-quality evidence-based research in community health issues, focusing on disease prevention, health promotion, and addressing social determinants of health & inform evidence-based practices.
  • Community Engagement: To actively engage with local communities, identify health needs, and implement sustainable interventions that enhance public health outcomes.
  • Healthcare Policy Advocacy: To advocate for and contribute to healthcare policies that promote public health equity, access, and quality & reduce public health disparities at local, national & global levels
