Malla Reddy Medical College for Women is a private Medical College started in the year 2013 with an intake of 150 students with the approval of Ministry of Health and Family Welfare as per the recommendations of the Medical Council of India and is affiliated to Kaloji Narayana Rao University of Health Sciences.
The intake of MBBS students is Increased to 200 during 2021 as permitted by National Medical Commission/ Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, New Delhi. The College and its attached teaching hospital, Malla Reddy Narayana Multispecialty Hospital are situated in a sprawling campus. It is located in Suraram, Hyderabad approximately 20 KM from major Railway Stations of the city and it is well connected by buses from different parts of the city.
The Medical College is equipped with air conditioned Lecture Halls with multimedia audio-visual aids and well equipped Teaching Rooms and separate Laboratories for each department. All the teaching areas are digitally connected to each other. Our faculty are from all over India, have vast teaching experience of working in Government and private medical institutions. The institution also has play grounds (Cricket, Tennis, Volley Ball, Throw Ball, Basket Ball, Badminton etc), various indoor games and Yoga facilities.
Malla Reddy Narayana Multispecialty Hospital is a 1050 bedded teaching hospital attached to Malla Reddy Medical College for Women located at Suraram, Medchal- Malkajgiri District as per NMC norms with a well equipped 24x7 Emergency Department having 30 beds.
Our Intensive Care Units have a total of 121 beds, ICU 18 beds, ICCU 32 beds, SICU 15 beds, PICU 15 beds, NICU 15 beds, RICU 06 beds, HDU 15 beds, Burns Unit 05 beds and Cath Lab with latest medical equipments.
Laboratory facilities consist of Biochemistry, Pathology (Histo Pathology, Cytopathology and Hematology), Microbiology (Bacteriology, Serology, Virology- Molecular biology, Parasitology, Immunology, Mycology and Media Preparation ) laboratory facilities, Radio Diagnosis Department with 30 ma, 100 ma, 300 ma, 600 ma, 800 ma X- Rays machines, Fluoroscopy, CT Scan with
128 Slices, Mammography, DSA and MRI facilities.
We are having total 14 Operations Theatres which includes 11 Major and 3 Minor Operation Theatres with well equipped Surgery Equipment.
The Central Library is an air conditioned facility, works from 9 A.M. to 12 P.M including Sundays, with 13633 Books and 156 Journals which includes 92 National and 64 International Journals of different departments.
We provide well furnished Hostels to Students, Interns, Residents & Nursing Staff, separate Residential quarters for Teaching and Non- Teaching staff. We are having transport facilities from all over the city. We provide AC and Non Ac bus facilities for students and non teaching staff and vehicle pick up facilities to our teaching faculty.
The Institution emphasizes exclusively on the Academic and Socio-cultural development of medical students and does not tolerate lack of discipline. Students are advised and expected to maintain a standard level of decency.
